🔧 Installation Recommendations
Install the weather station in an open, unobstructed area, at a distance of at least 2 times the building height from any structures.
Wind speed and direction sensors should be installed 2-3 meters above ground level.
Soil sensors must be inserted vertically into the soil to ensure full contact with the soil.
The solar panel should face south (northern hemisphere) with a tilt angle of 30-45°.
The rain gauge must be kept horizontal with no trees or buildings obstructing the surrounding area.
5. Precautions
Regularly clean the rain gauge bucket and temperature/humidity sensor vents to prevent foreign objects from affecting measurement accuracy.
Avoid using in highly corrosive gas environments to prevent damage to sensor elements.
The device contains a built-in lithium battery. Do not disassemble or dispose of in fire to avoid danger.
If data anomalies occur, perform a self-diagnosis via RS485 interface or contact technical support.
During thunderstorms, it is recommended to disconnect external power to avoid lightning damage.
When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a dry, cool place and charge it every six months to maintain battery activity.
